Meeting a scissor-happy stylist while being a passive person isn’t the best mix. Although I’m not a professional, I like to think I have a good eye fo...r what looks good. Tammie is very nice, but I feel she cut my hair too short and added too many layers, resulting in an almost bowl-like haircut. She claimed it matched the picture I showed her, but I disagree. When I finally got a good look at my hair (after taking off my glasses), I realized so much had been chopped off from top to bottom that there was no fixing it. Now, my hair is so short that I’m unsure how to style it—I might have to embrace the mushroom bowl no hair look for a while. To be fair, I did say I was open to short hair, but I wish we’d discussed how much shorter I wanted to go. The appointment felt rushed, and I got the impression that short hair isn’t her strong suit. We barely talked about the cut before she made quick decisions based on just a glance at my inspiration photo. I’ve had short hair before, but this is probably the weirdest cut I’ve ever had, and I’m struggling to adjust. I’m my heart if I thought there was a way she could fix it I’d have her fix but there isn’t.I understand it’s important to trust professionals, but I’ve learned not to do so blindly (literally need to wear contacts next time) so-far, everyone who has seen my hair has been completely silent, or they’ve just commented, “Oh, that’s short…” I am apologetic for leaving a bad review but this was not a good cut and she did text me that my review was a horrible thing to do to a business owner. I had raised it and let her know I hope I did not affect her then realized she had blocked me so… here we are. As I wash my hair I realized the damage. She has thinned my hair close the the scalp gave me choppy I blended layers it is honestly a mess I have no idea how to fix. Not did she give me a resolution and just blocked me. Beware ladies. Worst haircut of my life. Show more
