Wash and Silk Press

I checked the stylist's social media portfolio, and I expected to get a good silk press based on the pictures. Unfortunately, the result was a stiff a...nd greasy mess. It most likely was a combination of products not working well with my hair, greasy hair tools, poor blow-drying technique, and a serious lack of heat protectant. It took a few days of using dry shampoo to get it to look decent. But the true extent of the heat damage was clear after I washed my hair. Only a few of my curls reverted. The rest of my hair remained straight and stringy, and it smelled burnt! I have had 3 silk presses with other stylists before, and my hair reverted back to its natural state without issue. It took me 2 years of growth for my hair to get to where it was before this silk press, and I may be forced to start over with taking care of my hair. This experience was seriously disappointing. The stylist was nice, but I will not be coming back. Unless she seriously improves her technique, I cannot recommend her when it comes to getting a silk press. Please proceed with caution if you care about your hair. Show more

Stylist in her 28 years of doing hair this is the first bad experience but she had with any client wish this customer would call and address this issues.
